2-n-Heptylfuran
2-n-Heptylfuran is produced by cooked meat. 2-n-Heptylfuran exhibits chemopreventive activity, inducing phase II enzymes such as glutathione-S-transferase and inhibiting benzo[a]pyrene-induced tumor development in vivo.
